Planning submitted for food waste facility

We are pleased to announce that the planning application for a food waste anaerobic digestion treatment facility at Thames Water’s Banbury sewage treatment works has been submitted.

EcoGenR8 has been working with Thames Water, who are taking forward the development which will convert food waste into renewable electricity to power up to 3,900 homes using anaerobic digestion.

The planning application is due to be considered by the Planning & Regulation Committee on 2nd December 2013.  Copies of the application and supporting documents are available in the projects section of the EcoGenR8 website (www.ecogenr8.com), or via Oxfordshire County Council’s website.

AFECO is a trade name of EcoGenR8 Limited.
